A4TE: LEARN HOW TO TESTIFY FOR TRANS RIGHTS (VIRTUAL)

Want to make a difference in the fight for trans rights? Been interested in using your voice and getting more involved in the legislative process? Join us for a virtual volunteer training on How to Testify for Trans Rights in support of the trans community at public hearings, legislative sessions, and community forums. Your voice matters! This training will be on Tuesday, February 25th from 7PM - 8:30PM EST via Zoom. Please sign-up to receive the Zoom link. This training is open to the organizations, community members, allies--anyone who wants to stand up for trans rights! 

Led by A4TE staff, this training will cover:

       📣 The basics of public testimony 

       📣 Best practices for crafting a compelling and impactful statement / your story

       📣 Tips and tricks to manage nerves and different types of lawmakers

       📣 How to share personal stories while prioritizing safety and well-being
