DOWN WITH OP SEC: TOWARDS A COMBATIVE SECURITY CULTURE

DOWN WITH OP SEC: TOWARDS A COMBATIVE SECURITY CULTURE

In a time of heightened repression, as the need for people to take action becomes greater and greater, it is important to ask: How do we accomplish building movements capable of taking decisive action that are also open and inviting places that reflect the worlds we are striving to build?

Join us for an hour of quiet reading time focused on building combative cultures of security, care, and solidarity. Reading time will be followed by facilitated discussions and opportunities to connect and build relationships through critical discussions about our experiences and those we have read in the readings.

We are providing a virtual options of the event for those who are in our region and cannot come in person due to access needs. Please email pipsqueak@riseup.net for that information and we’ll send you a link the day of the event.
