LGBTQ PRISONER LETTER-WRITING PARTY

LGBTQ PRISONER LETTER-WRITING PARTY

Save the date for our monthly letter writing party, this time on a weeknight!

Join Black and Pink Seattle/Tacoma for an LGBTQ+ prisoner letter-writing event on Tuesday, March 25th from 6-9pm at Pipsqueak Gallery (173 16th Ave, Seattle 98122). Drop in anytime, no experience necessary!

We’ll provide all the supplies and info you need to write birthday cards and letters of support to incarcerated LGBTQ+ people in Washington prisons. We can also match you with a pen pal. If you already have a pen pal, use this space to send them a letter and get feedback from experienced pen pals in our group. Or if you don’t feel like writing, just come hang out with some queer trans prison abolitionists. Help us turn fear into action, fight isolation and repression, connect with local organizers and community. We’re here for you 🩷

This event is mask-required with KN95 masks provided if you need. We strongly encourage you to take covid tests before our event, and to stay home if you are experiencing any symptoms of viral illness. See tinyurl.com/BNPPenpal for more information.
