MESOAMERICAN TRANS & GENDER-NONCONFORMING ICONS

Join us at the Seattle Public Library @seattlepubliclibrary for "MesoAmerican Trans & Gender Non Conforming Icons" for August 23rd from 1-3 pm.

This workshop focuses on Trans & GNC icons in our MesoAmerican communities. Vaquero Azul will be giving a presentation on each individual while you paint watercolor portraits of each icon.

This workshop focuses on highlighting Trans, Two-Spirit, Muxe and other Gender Non conforming individuals- to expand our knowledge of our past Transcestors and living Transcestors we can support in the now.

This workshop features presentations on the following Icons:
Amelio Robles Ávila, Yalitza Angelina, Amaranta Gómez Regalado & Ocelotl Mora.
